MCP support on lizzy.nu ends on September 16
I'm removing MCP support from lizzy.nu at the end of this month. The integration will remain available through September 1, 2026. From September 16, the site's /mcp endpoint will no longer be available.
MCP lets compatible AI clients access tools on the website. I no longer plan to use that integration, so I've removed the related code from the project in preparation for the shutdown. This includes the endpoint itself, along with the server and tool classes created specifically for it.
Keeping an integration around also means maintaining its dependencies and code. Since I'm no longer using it, I've decided to remove it from the website.
The browser tools are staying
The QR code generator and Minecraft server tool will remain available on lizzy.nu. You can continue using both directly in your browser.
The removal only affects access through MCP. If you use these tools through their regular pages on the website, you don't need to do anything.
If you've connected an AI client
Any AI client connected to https://lizzy.nu/mcp will lose access when the endpoint shuts down. After September 30, you'll need to remove or disable that connection in your client's settings to avoid connection errors.
If you use the MCP tools as part of a workflow, please adjust it before the end of the month. The browser versions will remain available for manual use.
I might bring MCP back later as a standalone tool, separate from the website. That's still an idea, and I don't have a release date or a replacement endpoint to share.
Thanks to everyone who tried the integration.
